Hot foil stamping.
Hot foil stamping is preferable when a design requires white or light colours to be printed onto dark coloured card or paper stocks, as foil is far more opaque than letterpress ink.
Stamping in metallic foil is recommended where a bright metallic effect is required as letterpress printing in metallic inks printed onto uncoated stock will appear quite dull as they absorb into the surface of the paper or card stock.
Some examples of projects that we have wholly or partly hot foil stamped can be viewed on this page.
